Planters International Berhad is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Jay Padasian as Director, taking up the role since last year, marking a significant enhancement to our leadership team with over 28 years of multifaceted experience in biotechnology, healthcare, and sustainability, Mr. Padasian's addition enhances our steadfast commitment to pioneering advancements in sustainable forestry and circular economy solutions.
A UK-qualified Registered Pharmacist, Mr. Padasian has an illustrious career leading multinational corporations, including Johnson & Johnson, B. Braun, and Covidien (now Medtronic).is strategic vision has been instrumental in driving national economic development initiatives such as Malaysia’s Bioeconomy Transformation Programme and the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).
His extensive involvement in policy advisory and strategic development is noteworthy. Serving as a Government Advisor on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) and as a Steering Committee Member for Malaysia’s National Key Economic Area (NKEA) in Healthcare, Mr. Padasian has consistently demonstrated his dedication to integrating Sustainability and ESG principles into economic growth frameworks.
